What To Expect : “Telling America’s Story through the Art of Craft” by 120 juried artists in basketry,ceramics, decorative fiber, furniture, glass, jewelry, leather, metal, mixed media, paper, wearable art and wood.
H.E. Sir Nigel Sheinwald, KCMG, British Ambassador, and Lady Sheinwald will serve as Honorary Chairs, continuing the long relationship between the Smithsonian Institution and Britain first established by James Smithson’s legacy to the American people. The show benefits education, outreach and research projects within the Smithsonian Institution.
