Over a thousand guests will enjoy a festive and elegant evening benefiting the Corcoran’s award-winning outreach, educational, and scholarship programs.

BACHELORS AND SPINSTERS BALL
What to Expect: Dress to impress at this annual invitation-only party bringing together a few hundred of Washington’s most eligible singles for a wild night. Have doubts? The ball has been on the city’s social calendar since the 1930s.

FOLGER SHAKESPEARE GALA
What to Expect: A celebration of that most ubiquitous Shakespeare play, Hamlet, inspired by Folger Theatre’s spring production. The Gala entertainment performed on the Folger’s Elizabethan stage will feature Hamlet-themed music, theater, and readings. A seated dinner served in the Library’s breathtaking Reading Room follows. Gala proceeds support the Library’s educational and cultural programming for the community.
