SUMMER PREMIERE: “It Might Get Loud” premiered at the Avalon Theatre in July with Washington-born filmmaker Davis Guggenheim’s family, friends, and fans turning out to preview his penetrating profile of three generations of electric guitar legends: Jimmy Page (Led Zeppelin), The Edge (U2), and Jack White (The White Stripes). A WORTHY CAUSE: The event benefited Woodley House, which provides residential care in a neighborhood setting to those suffering from mental illness.
