Tigerlily Foundation’s 1st Annual Breast Cancer Gala Honoring Representative Debbie Wasserman Schultz for her work supporting young women with Breast Cancer

Who and What: Join us for Tigerlily Foundation’s 1st Annual Breast Cancer Gala Honoring Representative Debbie Wasserman Schultz for her work supporting young women with breast cancer.

When and Where: October 22, 2009, from 7:00 – 10:00 p.m., at the Willard InterContinental Hotel in Washington, DC.

Special Honorary Invited Guest: First Lady Michelle Obama

Special Guest: Andrea Roane (WUSA 9), will be the Mistress of Ceremonies. Chick Hernandez (Anchor, Comcast SportsNet), Sarah Frasier from Hot 99.5, Julie Parker (ABC 7) and Beverly Kirk (News Channel 8) present awards to survivors. Also, meet Rep. Eleanor Holmes Norton Honorary Guest & Kathy McMahon of Comcast Sports. The event also has more than 60 Congressional Members on the Congressional Honorary Committee. Matthew Christian Davis, Managing Director, Global Village Publishing and creator of Best of DC Books, will be there for book signing.

Ticket/Raffle: You can also win a brand new 2010 Ford Mustang for $100. You don’t have to be there to win. The winner will be announced at the gala…or enjoy our early bird special —for $150, get a gala ticket and a free raffle ticket and enjoy dinner, drinks, dancing, swag bag, entertainment and silent auction.

Be there for an Awesome Moment: Acclaimed surgeon, Adam Summers will donate a free reconstruction for one young woman who has undergone surgery for breast cancer, but who cannot afford reconstruction.
