Our 12th annual Poetry Slam!, a city-wide spoken word competition, will feature individual and group performances of original works written by DC SCORES poet-athletes from 17 elementary schools and six middle schools in wards 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8. Each performance of the two-night event will feature over 300 DC SCORES poet-athletes.
The 2009 DC SCORES Poetry Slam! will begin at 6 pm. Dec. 2nd at Columbia Heights Education Campus and Dec. 3rd at Kelly Miller Middle School.
