The theme “Hot Jazz & Cool Blues” sets a festive stage for a night of music and dancing at Glen Echo Park’s 2010 Gala in the Park. Cokie and Steve Roberts are the Gala’s Honorary Chairs, and Rob Bamberger, host of WAMU’s “Hot Jazz Saturday Night,” is Master of Ceremonies. Honorees include Montgomery County Executive Isiah Leggett and the Washington Folk Festival, produced by the Folklore Society of Greater Washington. All proceeds benefit the Glen Echo Park Partnership for Arts and Culture.
