Join us for a special showing and sale of Beaded Amulet Purses by the late Lorraine Grant Morton. Lorraine founded the Northern Virginia Bead Society in 1992. She also taught seed beading techniques and created her own patterns for amulet purses. Amulet purses have been used for centuries by people of all cultures to carry herbs, charms, scriptures or something dear to protect them or to aid them in attracting good.
