ABOUT THE PLAY:
Spotlight Comunicaciones introduces its first American production of “Gay: Accept Me If You Love Me.” A fresh, daring and emotionally charged play coming to the Theater J (DCJCC) in Washington, DC in summer 2011. Featuring area top actors and guest star, international top model and actress, Edith Tapia, this production touches on the human reflection of the process of acceptance, transcending appearance, gender, religion, socio-economic levels and sexual orientation. “Gay, Accept Me If You Love Me” is an agile, funny, sexy, bold, aggressive and violent story. It portrays the world in which we live in and shows us the appearances society pressures us to concede to in order to be accepted.
