Our 13th annual Poetry Slam!, a city-wide spoken word competition, will feature individual and group performances of original works written by DC SCORES poet-athletes from 18 elementary schools and seven middle schools in wards 1, 2, 4, 5, 7 and 8. Each night of the event will feature over 350 DC SCORES poet-athletes representing their schools.
The 2010 DC SCORES Poetry Slam! will begin at 6 pm. Dec. 1 at Columbia Heights Education Campus and Dec. 2 at Kelly Miller Middle School.
