Black-tie garments and woven plaids decorate the ballroom floor for an evening of Scottish music, dancing and charity.

The Saint Andrew’s Society of Washington celebrated the 61st Annual Tartan Ball on November 13th at The Mayflower Hotel in Washington, DC. Guests donned their signature, patterned plaids at the sold-out event to celebrate Scottish-American culture in the community and support educational scholarships and charity.
The black-tie ball began with a cocktail hour and silent auction with entertainment from the Pipes and Drums of The St. Andrew’s Society. The night also included dinner, announcing scholarship award recipients and ballroom dancing to the pipe band music of the Bemcha Jazz Band.
