Cheers! Toast the new year with a glass of bubbly and your favorite champagne-themed cosmetics!

Champagne can be more than just your favorite bottle to pop this new year.  The shimmery neutral is a great option to create your look for a night out, especially if you are looking for the perfect contrast to a smokey eye or bold red lip.  Rosé or brut, the cosmetic tones start with a beige root, can have hits of rose and often have a glimmery-glisten finish.  There are so many to chose from to mix into your overall look this NYE.

Cleansing beforehand is always key, so that’s why philosophy‘s cheers! shampoo, shower gel & bubble bath (srp: $16) is the best way to get ready with its sweet and refreshing scent.  Aren’t bubble baths the perfect pairing for a glass of your favorite sparkling wine anyway?

Prep the facial palette with Spackle Tint Champagne by Laura Geller (srp: $25), a tinted makeup primer that smooths over your skin’s surface for optimal makeup application.  Made with white tea and aloe vera, it reduces redness and skin is protected from antioxidants.  Usually primers only lay the ground work but the extra tint will save a step if you want to save time and avoid heavier coverage of traditional foundation.  If you’d prefer to add some extra highlights on your eyes, cheeks or lips, apply Shiseido‘s Makeup Accentuating Color Stick in Champagne Flush (srp: $33).

Playing up your pucker? Add an eye with these basic tones.  Start with a liner like Le Metier de Beaute Dualistic Eye Pencil in Champagne (srp: $36) and follow with an eye shadow trio like stila’s champagne glow (srp: $28). The light to dark options can create depth and dimension to the eye without distracting from a bolder lip.

If you are instead ringing in the new year with a dark or smokey eye, create balance with a neutral lip color like tarte 24.7 Natural Lip Sheer SPF 15 in Champagne Brunch (srp: $16), Too Faced Champagne Room Glamour Gloss (srp: $19) or the lip-plumping, Champagne Ice Lipgloss by YOUNGBLOOD Mineral Cosmetics (srp: $21).  Replenish your parched lips (and hangover) in the am with Lip Elixirs lip balm in Mimosa (srp: $6.50).

Show off your NYE look by opening the bubbly with your themed nail colors like imported champagne by essie (srp: $8) or e.l.f.‘s Champagne at only $1!
