Art and Auction: Washington Winter Show

The much-anticipated Washington Winter Show begins this week at the Katzen Art Center at American University with a champagne reception.

From across the U.S. over 40 premier art dealers will gather to showcase fine art and antiques in the District for the Washington Winter Show, Georgetown: Over 200 Years of Style, at the Katzen Art Center at American University from January 6-9, 2011. Events and lectures will also treat guests, including an opening night party with patron’s champagne reception on Thursday, January 6th at 5:30pm and Sunday morning’s Antiques Road Show-type opportunity to have verbal appraisals by top dealers.   Debbie Winsor and Kate Chartener serve as co-chairs, which benefits Starlight Children’s Foundation, The Bishop John T. Walker School for Boys, THEARC and St. John’s Community Services with presenting sponsor PNC Bank. Tickets are available at the door or at 202.248.7159.
