Mirror, Chrome, and Gin Fizz: Art Deco in Britain

The Art Deco style epitomizes the glamour and fast times of the 20s and 30s. Up and coming design historian Emily Eerdmans will discuss highlights of British Art Deco, including the Cunard Line’s original Queen Mary, Claridge’s Hotel, Coleton Fishacre, and Eltham Palace. Emily Evans Eerdmans is an instructor at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City and is the author of various publications including The World of Madeleine Castaing.
