FourSquare, Facebook Places, SCVNGR and geo location social apps will become more popular. Small businesses in turn will start to see the value in using them. The trend will grow into 2012 or 2013 as these services become a standard marketing tool for brands big and small.
TABLETS
Currently a luxury, but that may change this year as more businesses use these devices to interact with customers. Super early adopters will start using tablets as their primary business computer.
