Guys, just how brave are you?  Brave enough to walk a mile in her shoes?  This Father’s Day, Becky’s Fund and the DC Coalition Against Domestic Violence will host the District’s first annual Walk a Mile in Her Shoes, a march for men to raise awareness about domestic violence and the role of men in responding to and preventing it.  Women are encouraged to support these men, as they trade in their shoes for high heels.

Students, citizens, local celebrities, and professional athletes will unite in the District to strut their stuff and take a stand against an issue that affects many women, men and children daily.  Join these brave men on Sunday, June 19, 2011 at the starting line of 1602 U St. NW, Washington, DC, at 9:30a.m.   If you would like to cheer them across the finish line, head to 900 U St. NW, Washington, DC.  Tickets for participants are $25.  For more information, visit www.beckysfund.org.
