We all know that there are thousands of cooking classes that teach you how to prepare a whole menu. But what about singles who don’t have to feed an entire family? What should we do when we want to enjoy a special meal on our own?

Things To Do In DC invites you to take a class with Vera Foresman – a woman who taught not only several participants at Arlington County’s Adult Education Program for fifteen years and has traveled widely. With recipes she picked up from her travels, she can teach you to make a huge range of dishes from all over the world. In her class, Foresman will help you to prepare six to eight condifence-enstilling dishes that will leave you feeling like a master ready to make your own entrée, appetizer, dessert and all other meals for yourself when you just want private time at home.

So, roll up your sleeves, put on your chef’s hat and come to kitchen of one of Washington’s best chefs for a hands-on class in Arlington, Virginia. Class size is extremely limited for this event. And maybe you are lucky and Vera Foresman will also share some of her travel stories with you…

The event will start on Friday, October 21, 2011 at 5:00 p.m. The exact address will be emailed to you a few days before the event. The class costs $ 75. More information HERE
