Starting this February, Saks Fifth Avenue has made a pledge to give 5% of all registered purchases made with a Saks Fifth Avenue credit card back to charity. In an effort to support each Saks Fifth Avenue’s immediate community, each 5% contribution will benefit a local organization, selected by the customer.

Registration to participate in this program is as easy as checking out, adding only one step to the cash-register experience–- linking your customer account with your chosen charity.

Chairman and CEO of Saks Incorporated Steve Sadove offered his comments on the addition of the new program: “Saks Fifth Avenue is committed to our local communities.  We appreciate our customers’ charitable involvement and look forward to giving back locally with this exciting and newly implemented national program.”

Saks Chevy Chase, one of The District’s favorite Saks locations, has partnered with the American Heart Association, Arena Stage, and the Child Health Center Board of Children’s National Medical Center for its February charitable commitments.

Saks.com will also be participating in the program, donating 5% of registered Saks card online purchases to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

So join us this February and give a new purpose to your Saks credit card purchases — while racking up your rewards points, donate a little bit of your winter shopping to your favorite local charity.
