Want to try dozens of restaurants in one night, mingle with top chefs AND support a good cause while doing it? World Central Kitchens’ annual Dine-N-Dash is the place to sate your foodie and philanthropic appetites on June 6.

Dine-N-Dash is one of D.C.’s most anticipated June events, and has raised $1.4 million since celebrated chef and activist José Andrés launched it six years ago. Andres formed his nonprofit World Central Kitchen in 2010 after the devastating earthquake in Haiti; his goal is to use “the power of food to empower communities and strengthen economies.

Andrés has done just that in Puerto Rico, leading a heroic effort to provide aid to victims of Hurricane Maria in September 2017. World Central Kitchen quickly became the largest hot-meal emergency feeding operation on the island, feeding 3.5 million with the help of dozens of chefs and more than 20,000 volunteers. New this year at Dine-N-Dash, a pop-up #ChefsForPuertoRico station will feature Puerto Rican chefs including Jose Enrique and Wilo Benet serving up their native cuisine in celebration of the island’s strength and culture.

Dine-N-Dash is unlike any food-focused event in the city. It’s something of a self-guided culinary tour and a way to check out Washington’s hottest restaurants by literally spending time in each one.

The 36 participating restaurants are focused in two neighborhoods, 14th Street and Penn Quarter, and each one will offer 5-8 sample dishes along with specialty drinks. Guests begin at 6 p.m. and are offered unlimited food and drink until last call at 10 p.m. An after-party sponsored by MGM National Harbor will keep the festivities going until 11:30 (location to be announced)!

General admission tickets start at $150. A limited number of VIP tickets at $400 include entrance to a reception with Andrés and special guests. Visit the website to get your tickets!
