The zoo is back and inviting animal lovers to safely say hello to their favorite pals, while also welcoming a few new furry friends—two female bisons, a wallaby and a kudu. The summer staple, which usually welcomes around 15,000 visitors daily, has been shuttered for months. For now, the zoo is offering visitors access to outdoor exhibitions and vendors, limiting the park to 5,000 daily visitors and requiring timed passes. All the animals miss their usual visitors and zookeepers have said they have questioned the public’s absence.
