Dr. and Mrs. James Michael of Pittsford, New York, are pleased to announce the engagement of theirdaughter, Victoria Elizabeth Michael, to Brian Jon Raymond, son of Mr. and Mrs. Philip Raymond ofGaithersburg, Maryland. A September 16, 2000 wedding is planned at the Congressional Country Club inBethesda.

Miss Michael graduated from Wittenberg University in Springfield, OH, with a degree in Political Science.She is currently the Advertising and Marketing Director at The Georgetowner. Mr. Raymond graduated fromWittenberg University with a degree in Political Science. He is currently employed by IBM Corporation.The couple will make their home in Washington, D.C.

Mrs. Charles David Reynolds is pleased to announce the engagement of her daughter Johanna Leigh Reynoldsto Harold Ray Cole, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold R. Cole of Birmingham, Ala.

Miss Reynolds is a law clerk to the Honorable Ed Carnes, Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. She receivedboth a bachelor’s and a law degree from the The University of Alabama, where she was a member of DeltaDelta Delta.

Mr. Cole is currently a Vice President at Van Scoyoc Associates, Inc. A former senior staffer for U.S.Senator Richard Shelby (R-AL), he is a graduate of The University of Alabama’s College of Commerce andBusiness Administration, where he was a member of Delta Tau Delta.

The couple will marry on Saturday, October 7, 2000, at First Baptist Church in Butler, Ala. A receptionwill follow at the Choctaw Country Club.

Miss Apple is currently employed as a consultant with MAC Research, Inc., and is a graduate of LoyolaCollege with a B.A. in Political Science.

Mr. Wolcott is presently employed as an associate with the Washington, D.C. office of McDermott, Will &Emery. He graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. from Amherst College, and a J.D. from the University ofVirginia School of Law.
