The mood was high, the crowd was hip, and and the art was pop on September 22nd, when the Govinda Gallery celebrated its 25th anniversary in style with such guests as photographer Lucian Perkins, Kara Kennedy Allen, Gail Percy, and Wade Davis. Showcased in a flashback to decades past were the works of the eccentric Andy Warhol, Beatles enthusiast Astrid Kurcher (who created the Beatles' psychedlic album cover art for Revolver), and photographer Annie Lebovitz. A post-show bash followed at the Halcyon House, where the party continued late int the night.
