While the President was conferring withhis National Security Advisors at CampDavid, housemates John McCutcheon,White House liaison to the Departmentof Energy, Brian Montgomery, director ofpresidential advance, and Steve Meyers,senior policy advisor to the Dept. ofCommerce, rallied the Administrationtroops for a morale building evening oflaughter and rejuvenation at their LakeBarcroft, Virginia home. Some of theguests taking a night off from theirwartime efforts to kick up their cowboyboots and party together included WhiteHouse political director Ken Mehlman,and Joe Heagin, assistant to the Presidentand deputy chief of staff for operations.
