Broadway diva Bernadette Peters, in a form-fittingred gown, dazzled the crowd with hits from “AnnieGet Your Gun” and “Peter Pan.” The NationalSymphony Orchestra played, hors d’oeuvres ofsmoked salmon on star-shaped toast and caviar onstar-shaped potato crisps were served, and guestsdined at tables decorated in celebration ofBroadway musicals at Wolf Trap’s 30th anniversarybash in mid-June. Over 1,000 supporters came outfor the benefit which netted a record $350,000 forthe Foundation’s education programs.
