Esther Coopersmith hosted a book signing at her Kalorama home on a rainyevening in late March to celebrate the publication of Caroline Rose Hunt’sdebut novel, “Primrose Past,” a romantic mystery set in Victorian England.Guests gathered at Ms. Coopersmith’s home to fete Ms. Hunt, the founder ofRosewood Hotels and Resorts and the daughter of legendary oilman H.L.Hunt. Ms. Hunt also founded and is chairman of Lady Primrose’s Antiquesand Lady Primrose’s Royal Bathing Luxuries, and is a founding member ofthe National Museum of Women in the Arts.
