A bunch of happy cats and femmes (over 400) in dancingshoes celebrated Washington Ballet Artistic Director SeptimeWebre’s birthday at “The Black Cat” on 14th Street onJanuary 18. Some of the guests at the bash: D.C. Councilmember Carol Schwartz, Kara Kennedy Allen, Peter Pappas,Mark Ein and the Ballet’s board president Kay Kendall, toname a few. Drag queen Gigi Couture and members of thecorps de ballet, who performed a spiced-up version of BritneySpears’s “I’m a Slave 4 U,” entertained.
