Asalways, this highly successful event, chairedby Elayne Bennett and Alma Powell, attractedheavyweights from politics, the media, and thebusiness arena for some 50's style fun, raisingmore than 1 million for the ever-expandingBest Friends/Best Men programs. Most guestsheeded the invite's warning and came "dressedto dance," with more than a few authenticvarsity jackets and bowling shirts spotted in thecrowd, while pink poodle skirts were de rigueurfor the ladies. Perfect 10 Bo Derek showed offher hula-hooping skills. Perfect!
