Georgetown Dog Walker Heads to Southern California

What will the pampered pooches of Georgetown do without the firm, restraining hand of William Blair at the other end of their Hermes leashes? Alas for the pups (and their too-busy masters and mistresses), the suave, handsome, fast-talking pet care pro has departed for Santa Monica, California, where sand, surf and a lady love await.

Although he was a bit of a recluse in recent years (at least as far as the social scene is concerned), William insisted on saying good-bye to friends and clients at a stylish farewell fete at the Ritz-Carlton Georgetown’s bar, Degrees, his favorite in-town hangout. Everyone promised to visit as soon as his multibedroomed beach pad is ready.
