Meridian Ball
Black, White and Jazz
The 36th annual Meridian Ball transformed Meridian International Center into
a black and white wonderland on October 7. Guests dined at participating
ambassadors’ residences and then joined the Linden Circle Young Benefactors
to enjoy a beautiful fall evening mingling in the courtyard and dancing to the
cool jazz tones of the Louisiana Repertory Jazz Ensemble. Co-chaired by Franki
Roberts, Jane Lipton Cafritz and Mary Howell, the gala benefited Meridian
Center programs that promote international understanding through arts and
cultural exchange programs.
