The Theatre Lab School of the Dramatic Art’s Creating a Role students perform in four public performances of “Around the World in 80 Days” by Jules Verne, adapted by Laura Eason. Directed by Randy Baker with acting coach Deidra LaWan Starnes.
The show is a wildly theatrical version of the classic with sledge rides, elephant chases, and surprising relevance to the refugee crisis facing the world today.
Performances take place at The Theatre Lab (733 8th St NW) April 4 – 6. Evening performances on April 4, 5, and 6 at 7:30pm, matinee on April 6 at 2pm.
