The Washington Design Center is bringing back its popular Sample Sale to the public on October 1st. At the sale, the general public will have exclusive access to reduced-price high-end and luxury floor samples and discounted furniture and décor.
The sale will feature price reductions up to 75% off floor samples and discontinued items. Showrooms will display design set-ups and featured pieces of furniture from a wide array of participating designers. Some of this year’s featured designers include WILLEMSMITHDC, Century Furniture, Robert Allen | Beacon Hill and Baker. The variety in designers and items will bring a variety to the sale that will please shoppers with many different design tastes.
The sale is not only beneficial to its shoppers but is also charitable. Proceeds from the $5 admission fee for the sale benefit pediatric oncology programs nearby at Georgetown University Hospital.
The Washington Design Center is the largest and most broad resource for high-end, luxury home furnishings and décor. Including some of the most innovative designs and designers, the center is a prime source for timely design ideas and inspiration.

Exclusive markdowns that are offered to trade professionals are also offered to the general public on October 1, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Washington Design Center’s showroom. The showroom is conveniently located at 300 D Street SW location in Washington, D.C. The sale occurs each fall and spring, and is popular among designers and new renovators alike.
For those without an eye for design, the Washington Design Center designers will be on-hand to assist and advise shoppers on their selections and answer any questions.
