THINK PINK: The Human Rights Campaign National dinner was once again a star-studded affair, with special appearances and speeches by Ricky Martin, White House Senior Advisor Valerie Jarrett, Bette Midler, Lee Daniels and Mo’Nique. Grammy Award winning artist P!nk was given the Ally for Equality Award. Also, receiving awards were Eric Stonestreet and Jesse Tyler Ferguson, from ABC comedy, Modern Family. Director Lee Daniels (Precious, Monster’s Ball) accepted HRC’s Visibility Award. The inspiring evening was bookended by a spectacular silent auction featuring artworks from the Corcoran, travel packages, a hybrid Lexus, and much more, and The Google after-party, which kept the dancing going late.
