On July 20, motorcycles and crowds of onlookers surrounded the Kiehl’s store in Georgetown as celebrities including Sharon Stone, John Corbett (“Aiden,” to “Sex and the City” fans), Gilles Marini Bares and Tyson Beckford joined Kiehl’s USA President Chris Salgardo and amfAR CEO Kevin Robert Frost for a party to culminate the third annual LifeRide, a 10-day motorcycle ride along the Eastern Seaboard to raise money and awareness for HIV/AIDs research.

LifeRide began in Miami on July 13 and ended in Washington on the eve of the International AIDS Conference. This is the first time in 22 years that the AIDS conference has been held in the U.S., and in honor of this event, Salgardo presented Sharon Stone, amfAR’s Global Fundraising chairperson, and CEO Frost a check for $115,000 on behalf of Kiehl’s.
