Become a part of history! The Prevention of Blindness Society of Metropolitan Washington (POB) is hosting its second annual American Girl Fashion Show at the Bolger Center on Sunday, November 8, at 10 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Proceeds from the event will benefit and help raise awareness of POB’s Children’s Vision Screening and Children’s Vision and Hearing Clinic programs.
The event program will include a runway fashion show of historical and contemporary American Girl clothing, a seated tea party reception, party favors, and door prizes along with special souvenirs and chances to win dolls and accessories from the various American Girl brands. A photo opportunity with Valerie Tripp, author of the American Girl Felicity, Josefina, Kit, and Molly series and three of the books in the Samantha series is also special to the event.
At least one adult is required per reservation. Recommended for ages 5 and up.
