Organic and sinuous, art nouveau is a style of modern art and design that developed out of the Arts and Crafts and aesthetic movements. In four sessions, Bonita Billman, art history instructor at the Georgetown University School of Continuing Studies, explores the origins, characteristics, historical influences, and the chief proponents of this style.
