Carol Wilson, from American Art’s education department, leads a tour of Jean Shin: Common Threads. The exhibition features eight large-scale installations created from 2000 to the present, including Unraveling (2006–2009). This site-responsive installation is a dense, brightly colored web of threads from unraveled sweaters that makes visible the network of relationships within the Asian American art community.
