Gunn, a born and bred Washingtonian, advised the crowd to take note of his three keys to looking great while wearing any style: silhouette, proportion, and fit (SPF, if you will). And whom might Gunn – a true fashion mentor – consider his fashion icon? Cary Grant, of course.
Models dressed in Juicy Couture, Lucky Brand Jeans, Kenzie, Monet and Kate Spade – all part of the Liz Claiborne, Inc. family – strutted the runway, showing there is more than one way to wear any look.
Other events included an industry panel, followed by a Fall Fashion show on Friday hosted by supermodel Frederique van der Wal and runway shows from Basler–which recently opened its first US store at Tysons Galleria–7 for All Mankind, Nicole Miller, and Betsy Johnson.
