by Public User Archive

Warm up this January at GiraMondo Wine’s Big Red Wines of Winter Festival! Winter is the best season to appreciate full bodied, well structured tannic red wines. We will taste interesting single varietal wines such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Red Zinfandel, Malbec, Grenache, Mourvedre, Cinsault, Sangiovese, Syrah, Negroamaro, Primitivo, Nero D’Avola, Aglianico, Petit Verdot, Petite Syrah, Lagrein, Carignan, Aglianico, Carmenere, etc. We will also taste blends such as Meritage (Bordeaux) and Rhone Style. You will have the chance to learn about and taste some of the best reds on the market and learn what to look for when pairing red wines with food.

Look forward to tasting wines from both Old and New World regions around the world and look for a unique line up of 15+ wines!

We will enjoy these wines with gourmet cheeses and appetizers. The wine selection will give you plenty of ideas for upcoming dinner parties.

For those who sign up early, you have the opportunity to sign up for a seminar as well!
7:00pm Tannins and Red Wines Seminar- Learn about different red varietals and tannins and why they are good for your health. This will be a great supplement to the main festival tasting!
