Blues Alley’s Jacques Johnson and Deejay Menan provided entertainment while special guest Project Runway contestant Nick Verreos and Karen LaMonte mingled with gala guests. The highlights of the event were Verreos cutting a rug on the dance floor, Kate Pynoos wearing an Isaac Mizrahi original in fuschia, @NickVerreos1 and @WashPostFashion live-tweeting the event.
Female guests accessorized their cocktail dresses with arty jewelry and head pieces to make the night fun and memorable.
The American Art side of the first floor was open to guests, where the museum is featuring its new exhibition, ‘Framing the West: The Survey Photographs of Timothy H. O’Sullivan’. Guests included Eric and Sharon Nenon, Deborah Davenport, Nick Snyder, Russell Bermel, Sydney McNiff Ferguson, Reem Sadiq, Meg King, Yoland Caraway, Michelle Fox, Haether Young, Duncan Ferguson and Betty Stolpen.
