Tashia Senn’s Fall/Winter 2010 Presentation at the plush Hela Spa in Chevy Chase

Nestled above Jimmy Choo and next to Louis Vuitton, the Hela Spa is at the epicenter of every fashionista’s paradise. The swank spa in Chevy Chase provided the perfect backdrop for the Tashia Senn Fall/Winter 2010 presentation.
The collection was inspired by the mod glamour of the 1960’s.
Using Lena Horn, Jackie Kennedy, and Twiggy as her muses, Senn created a refined collection embedded with modern touches.
Elegant evening wear and flirty cocktail dresses were fashioned out of silks and adorned with French lace, Swarovski crystals, and sequins.
The look of the show was an asymmetrical silk chiffon mini dress with a feathered skirt.
The sunkissed confection certainly met Tashia’s goal of “creating designs that capture the romance of life and place women at the center of attention.”
Accenting the ensembles was exceptionally unique jewelry by Faso. The designers, Banafsheh Fatoorechie and Maryam Sardari, strive to “mix old and new elements together to create something different, while keeping up with the trends.
”
Tashia Senn’s ultimate ambition is to show at New York’s Fashion Week. The 2009 FIT graduate is well on her way with her sophisticated style sensibility.
