Some dining experiences can transport you. A perfect meal of pasta and red wine along a Georgetown canal can make it seem as if you’re possibly really in Italy. The perfect meal at posh 2941 overlooking a pond and grassy hill? Makes you feel like you’re miles away from the city in a world of chic French cuisine, not off of Route 50 in suburban Virginia.
The best thing about 2941? The food is as delicious and gorgeous as the location itself.
The new spring menu, prepared by Executive Chef Bertrand Chemel, shows the season’s true colors. Chemel serves up perfectly battered soft shell crab, an inventive twist on a tomato, basil and mozzarella salad, and pastry chef Anthony Chavez presents a minty chocolate cake.
The chefs have an herb garden located on the property, which makes for bright flavors and extra-fresh dishes. Perfect for any special celebration or date night, 2941 is certainly worth a visit this spring. 2941 is located at 2941 Fairview Park Drive, Falls Church, VA 22042.
