Renaissance Dupont Circle Hotel and DC Commission on Arts and Humanities have come together to present a series of independent film screenings in conjunction with area film organizations.

Love independent films? Change up your routine and discover the unique films that are being presented at Summer Screenings, every Tuesday evening, at 7 to 10 pm, from July 13th to August 24th.
The Lounge at the Renaissance Dupont Circle Hotel,will transform into a theatre allowing guests to engage in thought provoking independent films. Partner film organizations for Summer Screenings include Politics on Film, DC Shorts Film Festival, Reel Affirmations, the GI Film Festival, Docs in Progress, Capital Irish Film Festival, and the Washington Jewish Film Festival. Several films will be followed by discussions with the directors of the films.
While guests view the screenings they will be able to enjoy delicious treats from a custom menu, including “Vans” Chipotle seasoned popcorn, Jerk Chicken Napoleons, Gourmet Hotdog Sliders, BBQ Chicken Flatbread, Ice Cream Sampler, an assortment of cocktails, regional and micro-crafted brews.
