Footprints in the Sand: Caregivers of South Africa | Book launch, Exhibition and Movies by Wayne Schoenfeld and Exeko

Exeko and Wayne Schoenfeld are invited by CHI to
present 3 of their documentary film projects on people taking care of children in palliative care.
The filmaker and photographer, Wayne Schoenfeld, will officially release his newest
photo-documentary book “Footprints in the Sand: Caregivers of South Africa”, with
forewords by Ann Armstrong-Dailey, CEO and Founder of Children’s Hospice
International, and Rev. Mpho Tutu, daughter of Noble Peace Prize recipient, Archbishop
Desmond Tutu and Founder of the Tutu Institute.
The exhibition will feature
twelve photographs from the book.
The Congress will also be the occasion for New Democracy Productions, a documentary
film company driven by Schoenfeld and Exeko, to present their Everyday Heroes Film
Collection including “Everyday is a Gift: Portrait of caring in South Africa” and their first award-winning movie, The Memory Box. The viewing will be followed by a Q&A with Nadia Duguay, Producer, and Wayne Schoenfeld, Director.
