Arianna Huffington’s new book, Third World Country, impresses readers as a literary work of inspiration and intrigue.
Arianna Huffington glowed in front of the October sunset as MSNBC’s Dylan Ratigan told the crowd how her new book, Third World America, inspired him to change his life view. He was an author’s dream, and looked good too in a 42 Long and Converse lace-free sneakers.
The political and media crowd gathered in Tammy Haddad and Ted Greenberg’s Palisade’s garden to celebrate the book and Arianna’s great success with The Huffington Post.
Washington biggies turned out in full force including White House top advisers Valerie Jarrett, FLOTUS Chief of Staff Susan Sher, Ambassador Capricia Marshall plus Secretary Gates’ Geoff Morrell and Secretary Clinton’s Philippe Reines. Politico chief Robert Allbritton and wife Elena, editor Jim Vandehei as well as most of the MSNBC line up were on hand. Beginning with Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski to Savannah Guthrie, Norah O’Donnell and Chris Matthews plus one popular CNN star Wolf Blitzer.
Senator Dennis Kucinich and his stunning wife turned heads and some hearts. Co host Greta Van Sustern, John Coale and Franco Nuschese chatted up Howie Kurtz about his new job at The Daily Beast. Sipping Nuschese’s sparkling wine co hosts Sally Susman and Alex Slater watched CSPAN’s cameras working hard to keep up with Arianna and her 200 well wishers.
TV producers and talent stacked up like LaGuardia to talk to White House TV maven Dag Vega including Steve Scully, Chris Licht, Pam Stevens, Carrie Stevenson and the new Conan producer, Britt Kahn.
