Navy Memorial Screens Award-winning Doc “Chosin” On Battle’s 60th Anniversary

by Public User Archive

The Navy Memorial is screening “Chosin,” a documentary about one of the most savage battles of the Korean War: the Battle of the Chosin Reservoir. Despite being surrounded and trapped by more than 200,000 Chinese troops, 15,000 U.S. troops fought 78 miles to freedom and saved 98,000 civilian refugees. Survivor accounts combined with never-before-seen footage take the viewer on an emotional journey. A panel discussion with the filmmakers and two DC-area Chosin Reservoir survivors will follow the screening.
