A Vivid Sense of Place

“A Vivid Sense of Place” is a dynamic performance of dance that engages the possibilities of territory wide-open spaces. The title work is inspired by the untamed landscapes of Freya Grand with music by Steven Rogers. “Of Bones & Bridges” examines Arlington’s backyard and the urban stream, Four Mile Run; its meaning to the community members who use it while acknowledging those who don’t even know it is there. Forty +, with performers past the age of 40, treads on the landmarks of family in “Married Girl”.
