A true patron of the arts will know that this is not the time of year to be sitting at home on the couch. December and January are full of performances from holiday themes to popular classics. We’ve compiled a list of the must-see winter performances from all of your favorite venues including The Kennedy Center, Arena Stage, The Shakespeare Theatre Company, Ford’s Theatre, Warner Theatre, Washington Stage Guild, Theater J, Bay Theatre Company and more!

Seasonal favorites are include A Christmas Carol, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Black Nativity and The Kinsey Sicks in Oy Vey in a Manger. Many of these performances only have limited seating left, so be sure to check with locations for ticket information.

There are also many sell-out performances that are only in town in the next few weeks such as, Annie, Candide, STOMP, South Pacific, A Midsummer Night’s Dream and A Girl’s Guide to Washington Politics.
