The American News Women’s Club has chosen Diane Rehm as this year’s recipient of the ANWC Award for Excellence in Journalism.

The American News Women’s Club has chosen Diane Rehm as this year’s recipient of the ANWC Award for Excellence in Journalism. Called the “Roast, Toast & Tribute,” this black tie optional event will take place at the National Press Club on Thursday, April 7, 2011. A cocktail reception will begin at 6:30 PM with a dinner program following at 7:30 PM.
The invitation can be viewed online here. Tickets can be purchased here for $225 and ANWC members receive a special price of $185. Ticket prices increase after March 31st.
Past recipients of the ANWC Award for Excellence in Journalism include Eleanor Clift, Katie Couric, Brian Lamb, Bob Schieffer, Cokie Roberts, and more. The ANWC’s Benefit and Award Dinner for Excellence in Journalism supports American News Women’s educational programs and local University journalism scholarships.
