Capitol Riverfront Front Row Films
Get your blankets, popcorn, and candy ready for the Capitol Riverfront summer movie series. From May 26th to July 28th, this vibrant, riverfront community will show a variety of family friendly movies from classics like Casablanca to the more recent blockbuster hit The Social Network. Screen on the Green 2011
Hollywood comes to the National Mall for this year’s four-week summer film festival. See the classics on the big screen with the Capitol as your backdrop. Rally up your friends and claim a spot early. There are only four movies and the lawn fills up fast. The classic films will be shown between 8th and 14th streets at dusk, around 8:30 pm. U Street Movie Series
Celebrate DC outside on the silver screen with the U Street movie lineup that includes classic and contemporary Hollywood films that feature Washington, DC. On top of the feature film, the night includes a short film, which creatively addresses the environmental and educational issues that plague DC.
