Bryan Voltaggio and friends throw a dinner party to raise money for Share Our Strength.

There’s nothing better than good friends getting together to help a good cause. On Tuesday, September 27, Bryan Voltaggio is inviting some well-known and well-loved chef pals over to Volt to put on a dinner to raise money for Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry initiative.
Top Chef alum Voltaggio will be joined in the kitchen by Charlie Palmer, Restaurant Eve’s Cathal Armstrong, Woodberry Kitchen’s Spike Gjerde, Matt Hill from Charlie Palmer Steak and Gerry Hayden of North Fork Table and Inn.
The evening begins at 6:00 with a reception featuring Volt appetizers, Fly Dog beer, wine and a silent auction. The dinner begins at 7:30 and will feature dishes prepared by all of the featured chefs.
The No Kid Hungry initiative aims to end childhood hunger in American by 2015. At national, state and city levels, the campaign aims to include children in need in nutrition programs, teach families and children how to eat and cook healthy through community programs and build public-private partnerships to end hunger.
Tickets are available at graduated pricing levels. It’s 5 per person for the reception only; 0 per person to enjoy the full multi-course dinner in the Main Dining Room; 50 per person to indulge in that dinner in the Chef’s Kitchen; and 00 per person to grab one of few seats at Table 21 for the evening.
