The metro area’s top talents host night of music and comedy at the Capital City Showcase.
By Kinne Chapin
There are so many talented performers sweeping through the district’s theaters and concert halls that it’s often easy to forget how many talented local performers the metro area has to offer. Enter the Capital City Showcase, a night of performances from the area’s best comedians, musicians, and performing artists. The evening hopes to honor the capital’s most talented performers by giving them a chance to perform side by side.
The November 19th event, which will take place at The D.C. Arts Center in Adams Morgan, features performers such as comedian Tim Messenger, acoustic musician Jacob Panic, talented guitarist Don Kim, and E.J. Ruchman, host of Annapolis’ Hats Off to Comedy show. The showcase will be hosted by another talented performer from the district, Washington’s own Christian Hunt. By the time the curtains close, you’ll be hard pressed to forget the capital’s local talent.
